Who banks us, and what an agency makes of it.

A buyer placing a season's volume with a mill is making a credit decision as well as a quality one. It is a fair question, and it is usually asked late and awkwardly. This page answers it in advance.

Between them, the four cover working capital, term lending and trade finance. Which bank holds which facility is a matter between the company and its bankers.

Independently rated

Infomerics Valuation and Rating has assigned Sara Textiles IVR BBB with a stable outlook on its long-term bank facilities, and IVR A3+ on its short-term facilities. Both were reaffirmed on 24 October 2025.

BBB is investment grade. A rating is somebody outside the company reaching their own conclusion about it, on their own evidence, and that is the whole value of the line — which is why the agency, the grade and the date are on the page rather than the phrase alone.

We publish the banking relationships and the rating because a buyer is entitled to ask. Nothing on this page is a statement about the company's accounts, which are filed where company accounts are filed, and nothing on it is an offer of credit terms — those are a conversation, and they vary by programme.
